Green Screens
Green screens are used to add effects to your image such as to add a background which could be any background you want such as the mountains or the moon by having good editing skills. You can use this in a video/film or to create an image and also you can use a blue screen which does the same thing as a green one.
Three films that used green screens to produce good effects and backgrounds for their film are Life of Pi where they added the background of the ocean and a tiger using an editing software.
The Avengers where they used it to add explosions in the background, making it look realistic with the well edited bits.
The Hobbit where they also used the green screen to add the background of a hill and houses making it have a beautiful view.
